This isn’t intense, but it’s noticeable and I’m not sure what exactly in the formula is causing this, mind you my skin isn’t particularly sensitive. The only thing I didn’t like was the slight tingle or irritation when you let it sit on the under-eye area. The NARS concealer will give you full coverage and conceal dark spots and the like, while my little moles still show through the Maybelline concealer. I would say it’s not far off the mark, but the Maybelline concealer isn’t as thick or as pigmented as the NARS. Rumour has it the Fit Me Concealers are a dupe for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, which is a pretty bold claim, considering how well the NARS concealer performs. I’m wearing Fit Me Matte Poreless Foundation in 355. dries to a satin finish and does not crease when set with powderĬlose-up: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer 45 set with Fit Me Pressed Transluscent Powder.very easy to blend as it doesn’t dry too quickly.has a creamy consistency which is thicker than the True Match Concealers, but not as thick as NARS Creamy Radiance.it is medium coverage at best, but you can build it up.Some key points on the concealer’s formula: Left to Right: Toffee (45), Cafe (50), Hazelnut (55), Cocoa (60) As you can see in the swatches, the darkest shade 60 isn’t dark enough to contour with and there will obviously be a lot of other dark-skinned beauties who may not find a suitable shade. I really wanted to add, “…but not enough!” in the blog title because, although the shade range is okay for highlighting and under-eye brightening, they could do with adding a few more darker shades. So far I have been using 45 to highlight under my eyes clean up under my brows, and 60 for the top of my brows since its closest to my foundation shade. I picked up four of the new shades on a buy one get one half price offer because I knew I will use all of them. I poured my feelings about that into that post and with that in mind, the bar (albeit low) was already set for drugstore concealers. If you read my previous blog post, you will know that I featured Loreal’s True Match concealer, which was one of the first concealers with dark shades by a mainstream ‘drugstore’ brand, to hit UK shelves. Dear Maybelline, only three shades do not fit the entire Indian skin tones, please do release more shades for the dark-skinned beauties.I’ve been waiting so long for the Maybelline Fit Me Concealers to hit UK shelves, so much that I almost danced when I saw them in Superdrug. What I don’t like about this product is the shade selection part. It stays full on 5 hours without creasing, after the 5th hour it starts creasing.īut note that you set it with powder soon after applying the concealer or hence it will crease very soon. If you try to use your fingers, the result won’t be as flawless as the ones given by the sponge. We can build up the coverage by applying a layer more, it won’t look patchy if u use a damp cosmetic sponge or a dome shape sponge or a beauty blender. The consistency is very light, it feels like I’m not wearing any makeup on my face. Since I don’t have very prominent dark circles, so I use this concealer on the centers of my face to highlight my face.ĪLSO READ: Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation Review It is available in 9 shades: 10 light leger, 15 Fair, 20 Sand Sable, 25 Medium Moyen, 30 Honey, 35 Deep, 36 Golden Caramel, 40 Caramel, 50 Cafe So when I finally purchased it, I was in love with this one.
